Beckhampton road in the distance. On the left of the garden was a small 3ft wide flower border, then a path to the back gate in the top left corner, there was an outhouse right along the back of the house with a coal store on the left en. Mr. Brooks' old garage on the right, there was a wooden fence on the left, no wall. The back lane ran to the right and Moorland road. a slipway led to Beckhampton road. The small dust carts came down this bacl lane in the 19950s/ 60s.
